Pan-Indian superstar Prabhas commemorated his birthday with a significant treat for cinema enthusiasts, as the makers of his anticipated period action drama unveiled his vintage military look, setting social media abuzz.

Helmed by critically acclaimed director Hanu Raghavapudi and bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers, the ambitious project—tentatively titled Fauzi—places the actor in a rugged, mid-twentieth-century soldier's persona against a gripping historical backdrop.

A Bold New Era for the Action Star

The newly revealed visual presentation introduces Prabhas in an authentic mid-century armed forces aesthetic, departing significantly from his recent sci-fi and contemporary action roles. Set against a pre-independence or early post-independence wartime canvas, the narrative reportedly intertwines deep-rooted patriotism, high-stakes military espionage, and intense romantic drama.

Raghavapudi, known for crafting poetic yet grounded narratives in films like Sita Ramam, is steering the mega-budget project with an emphasis on authentic production design, period-accurate uniforms, and elaborate practical sets.

Star-Studded Ensemble and Massive Canvas

The film boasts a heavyweight ensemble cast designed to maximize pan-Indian appeal:

* Lead Pairing: Social media sensation and classical dancer Imanvi marks her feature film debut opposite Prabhas. * Veteran Screen Icons: Legendary actors Mithun Chakraborty and Jaya Prada have been roped in for pivotal, character-defining roles. * Technical Crew: Acclaimed composer Vishal Chandrashekhar handles the musical score, while Sudeep Chatterjee oversees the cinematography.

Filming commenced earlier this year on custom-built sets in Hyderabad, with additional expansive schedules planned in historic and rugged outdoor terrains across India.

Packed Roster Ahead

The military period drama adds to an exceptionally robust pipeline for Prabhas. The actor is concurrently working on Maruthi's romantic horror-comedy The Raja Saab, alongside pre-production preparations for Sandeep Reddy Vanga's high-octane cop actioner Spirit and future sequels in the Kalki cinematic universe.

With production moving at a rapid clip, the makers are targeting a grand multi-lingual theatrical release in late 2025 across Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
