Modi Will Hoist Tricolour at Red Fort Again in 2029: BJP Leader Nitin Nabin Targets Congress
Senior BJP leader Nitin Nabin asserted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will secure another term in 2029, claiming the opposition Congress is facing an irreversible decline.

Speaking to party workers and reporters, Nabin launched a scathing attack on the Indian National Congress, claiming that the primary opposition party is struggling for political relevance and heading toward complete electoral marginalization.
BJP Projects Long-Term Leadership Stability
Nabin's remarks come as the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government consolidates its policy roadmap in its third consecutive term. Addressing gathering party cadres, the senior leader argued that public trust in the leadership of Prime Minister Modi remains unshaken despite intense electoral battles.
"The people of India have repeatedly demonstrated faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's development-driven governance. Not only is the NDA delivering on its governance pledges today, but the leadership of Narendra Modi will once again see him hoisting the national flag at the Red Fort come 2029," Nabin stated.
The leader dismissed opposition claims that the political momentum had shifted following the 2024 parliamentary elections, asserting that the party's grassroots organization remains fully mobilized across northern and eastern states.
Sharp Critique of the Opposition
Turning his focus to the opposition bloc, Nabin criticized the Congress leadership for relying on what he termed disruptive political rhetoric rather than constructive policy alternatives.
* Organizational Friction: The BJP leader alleged that internal disputes and structural stagnation have weakened the grand old party beyond repair. * Electoral Outlook: Nabin claimed that successive electoral setbacks in state assembly contests reflect voter rejection of coalition-led governance experiments. * National Narrative: He reiterated that the ruling coalition is working with a defined 25-year vision toward transforming India into a developed nation by 2047.
Opposition leaders have previously dismissed such projections as premature political posturing, arguing that coalition arithmetic and rising regional dynamics will present formidable democratic challenges to the ruling party in future electoral cycles.
As major state elections approach, both the ruling NDA and the opposition alliance continue to trade sharp political barbs, laying the rhetorical groundwork for upcoming regional and national contests.
